LOVING GOMER
You might want to ask who Gomer is and why you are to love her. The concept of this post is us loving like God the way he commands, not loving the way we want or the way we feel. The story of Hosea in the Bible shows God's love towards us. The love God shows to us is way beyond emotions, it's a love that doesn't happen because of what the person (in this case you and I) have done. The love of God is demonstrated in Hosea and different parts of the Bible and the love of God is described in 1 Corinthians 13. I'm currently reading this book 'Redeeming Love ' by Francine Rivers and the book has given me a better understanding of what Christ meant when He said we should love. The story is equivalent to the story of Hosea in the Bible. When I'm about take certain decisions, I try to weigh my love level.
